What is Brega PR?
Brega PR is an app for booking services in Puerto Rico. Local cleaning, transportation, private chef, tour, handyman, plumbing and landscaping businesses list their services, and you book them with a date, time and secure payment from your phone.
How much does it cost to use the app as a customer?
You see the total price before you confirm. The business sets the service price; Brega PR adds a small service fee that is itemized on the payment screen.
How do I pay?
By credit or debit card through Stripe. The business is paid after the service is completed. No cash and no sending money to a stranger.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel 24 hours or more in advance for a full refund. Under 24 hours you get half back. If the business cancels, you always get 100%.
Is the app in English?
Yes, in Spanish and English. Businesses indicate which languages they serve in.
Which towns does it cover?
The whole island. At launch most businesses are in the metro area (San Juan, Carolina, Guaynabo, Bayamón), Dorado, Rincón, Ponce and Vieques. Each business sets how far it travels.
