Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-10-18
This is an initial version and will be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
What the service is
Brega PR is a platform that connects customers with independent service businesses in Puerto Rico. The business performs the service; Brega PR facilitates the booking, the payment and the communication.
Bookings and payments
The total price shows before you confirm and includes the platform service fee. Payment is by card through Stripe at booking. When you pay, the share for the business (the price minus the commission) goes to its Stripe account, and Stripe deposits it to its bank on its own schedule.
Cancellations
Each service has a cancellation window set by the business (usually 24 hours), shown before you pay. Cancel before that window for a full refund. Inside the window and before the service time, a 50% refund. After the service time, no refund. If the business cancels, always a full refund. Orders with no appointment are not refundable once paid.
Reviews
Only customers who completed a paid booking can review. Reviews must be about the service received. We remove reviews with insults, third parties' personal data or content unrelated to the service.
For businesses
Listing is free. The commission is 10% of each booking (with a $2 minimum across the commission and the customer service fee) and is deducted automatically; founding members pay no commission. You are responsible for your permits, licenses, taxes (including sales tax where it applies) and the quality of the service. You must honor confirmed bookings or cancel them as early as possible.
Liability
Brega PR does not perform the services and is not liable for damage caused during a service, though we investigate every complaint and may suspend a business. Each business is responsible for its work.
Accounts
You must be 18 or older and provide truthful information. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
